What’s the latest on the A220 training? How are pilots liking the new bird in general? Obviously limited routes/variety at the moment….

It’s a nice plane. The training cadre put together a nice program that works really well for transitions, let’s hope it is just as good for new hires. I have a feeling it will have limited routes for awhile as they ramp up training and put support in place.

Looking at June 2022 the A220 starts branching off to not just doing TPA/FLL. Flying doesn’t look too bad for the roughly dozen planes Jetblue will have by then. On the other hand the E190 trips will take another hit. The super senior guys that like their easy 6+ hr credit turn will have a decision to make.

Starts branching out a little next month with AUS, BNA, LGA, and RSW in the mix. Curious to see the bid packet Sunday to see how the trips shake out.

How many PA/NJ guys do we have? Probably depends on how large the base is.
