Great job Bubba and Tomahawk.
Our contract won't equal our peers.
We don't know when we will get this substandard contract.
Management is 3 steps ahead of us.
And if you keep helping management recruit and retain pilots, they can delay our substandard contract even longer.
There's some brotherhood and unity for ya.

However, pattern bargaining would require us to look at contract recency and industry trends as well. Alaska may be a peer, but their contract is very old and will be up for renegotiation soon in a very different industry landscape.
So not nearly as relevant as more recently signed contracts.
SWA, AA, UAL, DL, UPS and FedEx are more appropriate benchmarks for a new contract.

Fellas,
We're working of zero, zip, nathan, nada. We don't have a concessionary contract, no peer set negotiated, no retirement nor healthcare. Every time a section comes to agreement the quill dips into the ink well.
This is the messy end of our CBA process. DAL, UAL, AA and SWA (the closest "peer set") are excellent examples of the baseline contracts to which we should hope to achieve. The good thing is that jetblue management knows that and so does the NC.
Every time I look at my ALPA dues and think that theres no contract I cringe. However, my pessimism is turning to optimism as we go forward with the negotiations. I think that there will be a CBA presented to the voting group in 2017. It may not be ratified until 2018 but its going to be happening.

That is what I'm referring too. For instance while on LTD the company continues to fund a pilot's retirement with X%.
The structure is the the company funds a LTD pilots retirement. The X% may need to be updated.
