They blew it out West, they should have gone for SJC, now Frontier, Southwest and Alaska are all expanding there. They need to stop f'ing around with LGB, the locals don't care and we are flying half empty A320s up and down the west coast, cut your loses because we just can't compete with Southwest on the left coast. If you want to be an east coast airline, fine... then just do it!

Well maybe with this tragedy ( reducing at least 20 roundtrips a day) and the solutions created by the interns earlier this year, our on-time performance should be top notch.
As for flying to new cities, how about not reducing CLT to one flight a day during the holidays? Our Management doesn't need to step up, they need to do their job. Or maybe that's their plan, both for the upcoming contract or buyout ( Cape Air is running right next to United), let that stock get down to $15.
Hoping for the best for SJU, not from an airline view.

The thing is there is no end game. With 2/3 democrats on the NMB it was nearly impossible to get released. Now with soon to be 2/3 republican it won’t be possible at all. The only way this gets done in my eyes is an aggressive media and picketing campaign. If the next bargaining session doesn’t get us nearly finished the picketing, newspaper ads, billboards need to be put into overdrive. Can’t rely on the process any longer because the NMB is bought.

A buddy was explaining to me the airline politician who runs our airline lacks the innovation to expand the company in ways that are true to its inception. Adaptation and survival are hallmarks of jetblue she history and this could be one of those times that it's time to adapt the "sweet spot" into the Midwest.

I bet there are a lot of people in the Boston and New York markets who are looking to travel to the above mentioned cities. They're riding on Delta out of JFK and United out of EWR. Those are fair game customer service that would try Jblue.

An AIP/TA by January is insane false hope. This company does NOT need a CBA to plan its future. The "complex" items are agreed to already for the most part and for the remaining expensive items they can just look at our peers and KNOW every single piece of our CBA and "plan" for anything. Not that they do much "planning" around here.
It will almost surely require some brand embarrassment (picketing, media, billboards, etc...) or a transactional event to get them to agree to a CBA prior to their original plan (hell freezing over).
