Pretty broad brush strokes you are using there. To say that ALPA JetBlue pilots can't have an opinion on another airline's AIP because JetBlue pilots weren't unionized over 3 years ago is not valid. Many here voted for/wanted ALPA (or another union) years ago. Many were not on property for any of the votes. What's our waiting period? When can we have an opinion on another airline's contract/TA/AIP? How many JetBlue pilots are voting for the Spirit contract? NONE! All we can do is take care of our own house to help raise the bar. We demand more. And I/we sure as hell can have an opinion about this garbage AIP. Also, insinuating that it is wrong for non-union pilot groups to use mutually agreed upon jumpseat agreements (that benefit all pilots, not just union pilots) is disingenuous.

Jetblue pilots should essentially **** until we take care of our business for the first time, ever!

I’m going to say this again. The first TA that the union sends out will pass. There’s no doubt about it. That’s why I can’t believe management is holding out. They could come up pretty close to what we’re looking for and then get the vote. It will pass. The glad to be here crowd will cheer. The RSA/VDA crowd will drool at new pay rates.

The Negotiating Committee/MEC won't put something like that out for a vote. The company doesn't decide what we vote on.

What they think based upon internal survey data what is best for their group.
Why is it that BlueJet pilots think they have all they answers for other groups. BLueJet pilots know even more than Spirits MEC and NC.
Oh ... Spirits NC are dumpa$$ and the dorks in Blue are the wise group, who just so happen, in a few years will be starting into our third decade as bottom feeders and a poachers.
Didn't something like 85% vote for the 5 documents? Which was nothing!! Or worse ... "better than nothing". And we are going tell Spirit what to do. For puck sake!! I really hope this airline is merged if only to dilute our industry damaging gene pool.

Read the post that I was replying too again. Neither post said anything about Spirit. "Like what?" A substandard TA. That's what.

Its amazing to me that the pilot group that overwhelmingly voted for the "5 documents" has the nerve to post what I have read on this thread and on other threads about this AIP.
The Spirit MEC and NC has the data on what was important to them.
Will this AIP become the new conditions of service at Spirit? Probably.
Then watch BlueJet dork pilots whine about how THEY are letting the industry down.
Oh the humanity!!!
