Yes, you don't have to clean, but there are consequences (which are not mentioned but you know how BJ likes to do whatever they want). However, you did check a box on a training that says you will clean when non-reving to/from work or in general. What allows you to exempt yourself from this requirement? That's why it's vital a contract have a prohibition against ANY ancilliary non-flight related duties. In fact, if you do clean, you should probably be calling CS and telling them your duty started when you donned the gloves (if commuting to work). I've found a few examples of the FAA saying that similar activities would count as "duty".

This communique is for entertainment purposes only. It does not implicitly or explicitly acknowledge employment with any air carrier nor is any relationship implied. This communique does not represent the opinions or policies of ALPA or JB ALPA and does not represent the collective pilot group, ALPA, nor does it imply collective bargaining, advocacy, or workforce actions intended to disrupt operations.

Oh come on kiddo, don't be coy. Everyone here who is paying attention knows you're a F&H plant, and likely a legal intern. Why else did you magically appear right after the first rally to sow Discord? You're part of a FUD campaign.

I'm just telling you, kid, if you're going into 2L this fall, don't load yourself up. If you're going to be a 3L, I hope the internship is going well for you.

What is your theory as to why the companies law firm wants us to vote this down?

This would explain a lot about the Q.

Ok, since you are buying into this, what's your theory as to why the company would want it's lawyer to cause us to vote NO?

Yea- Im buying into an anonymous online characterization of a long-winded blow hard on APC
Do you actually think I gaf? This is just batting practice.
Any theory about Q is feasible- His motives are unclear- Do YOU know him or what he wants? Or do you just revel in the fact that you both have already decided to vote no with little info?
Seek happiness and lighten up BD- You must get multiple nosebleeds.
Enjoy the new CBA, whether its sooner or later.
I honestly mean this with a wink and a nod.

What is this 2L, 3L thing? seriously this is amusing.

I don't work for F&H, I don't have any association with them, or anyone whom BJ may be contracting with to subvert ALPA.

If you want to persecute someone on your witchhunt, go after the apologists like Bozo who don't think you're worthy of Pay & Rules.

Give your brain a chance.

My motivations are simple:
  • Improve the industry so it's respected like a profession with professionals again.
  • Get paid what we're worth as professionals.
  • Provide the highest levels of safety to our customers and ourselves (e.g. less night flying, better cabin air quality at ALL times, better commuting rules, etc.).
  • Get work rules commensurate a professional.
  • Improve our quality of life.
  • Pass/modify legislation that prevents pilot exploitation by any airline.
