Do you actually think I gaf? This is just batting practice.
Any theory about Q is feasible- His motives are unclear- Do YOU know him or what he wants? Or do you just revel in the fact that you both have already decided to vote no with little info?
Seek happiness and lighten up BD- You must get multiple nosebleeds.
Enjoy the new CBA, whether its sooner or later.
I honestly mean this with a wink and a nod.
I don’t think he is a fh plant but Im sure he doesn’t work here. I wonder if he is a pilot at all at times so that’s the only thing that makes me wonder about being a management plant.

I can't acknowledge either way because it violates the Blue Book on social media use to represent myself as a BJ pilot. Technically I don't consider this social media but who knows how they want to label it. You too should never admit to being a BJ pilot because you can be de-anonymized and then hung if you get on their radar for whatever reason. Bozo and Southerner don't care because they are in BJ's special "protected class" of apologists.

This communique is for entertainment purposes only. It does not implicitly or explicitly acknowledge employment with any air carrier nor is any relationship implied. This communique does not represent the opinions or policies of ALPA or JB ALPA and does not represent the collective pilot group, ALPA, nor does it imply collective bargaining, advocacy, or workforce actions intended to disrupt operations.

Again with the lies! Quote me saying I'm a NO vote please?

I definitely don't agree with everything Q says and have said so.

I simply asked J what the company's motive would be to derail this new agree they "need" in order to move forward with fleet review and their "big plans". He didn't answer. You seemed to agree, so I asked you?

What has gotten into you man?

I think what has gotten into all of us is the B6BS that we all deal with every day.
Are you actually trying to sell that you're going to look at the TA with an open mind? It's hard to tell with you.
Ive always been in agreement with you on the critique of B6, but not on your quick-triggered approach to judging the entire TA on bulletpoints alone.
You claim to be undecided, but your overall agreement with the close-minded Q, paints a different picture. I have not and will not block your posts like I have others, but dont pretend to have an open mind here. Your posts dont support that...Yet.
Not attacking here btw.

The bullet points (highlights in my strong opinion) very much disappoint me.

With that said, I'm smart enough to know I need to judge the entire agreement in totality.

But I don't stop there. I also believe I need to base my vote on the totality of the agreement *in addition* to what I believe the likely outcomes are going to be if this group votes it down.

So I look at the totality of the agreement as well as the likely outcomes of a NO vote in context.

Absolutely agree except I like the bulletpoints because this contract is primarily about work rules/retirement and scope.
The pairing construction also intrigues me.
It appears miles ahead of Alaska and more on a SWA par.
Again, no decision until I see the rates worked into the pairings and work rules/rigs.
I also like the vacation- I hated having to save my pto just to get awarded 2 weeks. I get em now anyway and can burn through my pto.
To each his own.

Why can't we have both?! For the life of me I can't understand this line of thinking.

Why can't we have the work rules and scope AND:

PS without a cliff
3% COLA
1 additional week per grouping
No OE trips withheld

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I'm tired of hearing the following excuses:

This is our first contract, need to solidify the base, then we'll get the stuff that's short on this TA the next time
What happens if the economy crashes....then what?
I'm a junior guy and it's super dooper good for me. I'm in!

+++++++++++++++++++++

So much f-ing shortsightedness with this pilot group it's nauseating...

Hmmm I'll give a scenario......agree to an AIP to get through summer with helpers then having the TA voted down after the high season to get back to square one of negotiations where they won't need the helpers anymore? That way nothing is really signed, labor expense hasn't increased, and they can keep paying you 40% lower than your peers till another summer. Repeat.
