So the hiring window opens monday and I was thinking about applying. Currently at a regional, i've tried going through some of the threads on here but they seem very heated regarding the TA. Am I better off staying where i'm at as an FO?

All that is being asked of this group is to be knowledgeable of all corners of the pending TA before voting. If you still feel the need to vote NO then by all means, if you want to vote YES then by all means. It's not that difficult. The arguments of the AIP was great but it is now tiring, THE HORSE IS DEAD, now can we wait for the TA? This way we can start a valid debate based on COMPLETE FACTS. I think that would have more purpose than this stupid back and forth bickering towards each other that has now become very repetitive.

Pilots here mostly are stuck in their Regional Mentality, so don't expect things to be much better here than your regional.

If you’ve been at the regionals for a year or two(and have a degree), you’re qualified to go anywhere. Metaphorically, you should hit on every chick (or dude) at the bar, and go home with the first one that says yes... and then Leave her(him) immediately when the one that you’re in love with finally comes around. This place is far from perfect but is much much better than a regional and has the potential for much more... which is what many of us are hoping for. A 320 type will not hurt your resume either.

3 words. I am applying. It's a vertical step for me and if/when I get in I can decide if I'd like to hang my hat here.

The email doesn’t say...but how long is the window open for? Do they just say ‘it’s been closed’ or is there a heads up that it will close? I wish they would give a date. I’m sure it would help many potential applicants, especially those that are on busy trips to make plans.
