So the hiring window opens monday and I was thinking about applying. Currently at a regional, i've tried going through some of the threads on here but they seem very heated regarding the TA. Am I better off staying where i'm at as an FO?

The arguments of the AIP was great but it is now tiring, THE HORSE IS DEAD, now can we wait for the TA? This way we can start a valid debate based on COMPLETE FACTS. I think that would have more purpose than this stupid back and forth bickering towards each other that has now become very repetitive.

WE HAVE HEARD IT ALL. JBLU APC FORUM IS NOW AT AN IMPASSE. 30 day cool down plz. For Fock Sake.

The pay rates are still unacceptable. We must have PAY & RULES, not one OR the other. The pay issue alone makes it a no-go. Gotta have both! Rules alone only benefit guys like Bozo who make coin based on RSAs.

If you're thinking about going to an airline that flies 150-200 seat airplanes as narrowbodies, go to SWA. Their pilot group respects themselves and are willing to fight what they are worth.

Pilots here mostly are stuck in their Regional Mentality, so don't expect things to be much better here than your regional.

And what have you done, other than APC, to convey your message and get others on board Q? Cuz its like 10 people here and most of them is not on your team. Most are waiting for TA.

If you’ve been at the regionals for a year or two(and have a degree), you’re qualified to go anywhere. Metaphorically, you should hit on every chick (or dude) at the bar, and go home with the first one that says yes... and then Leave her(him) immediately when the one that you’re in love with finally comes around. This place is far from perfect but is much much better than a regional and has the potential for much more... which is what many of us are hoping for. A 320 type will not hurt your resume either.

3 words. I am applying. It's a vertical step for me and if/when I get in I can decide if I'd like to hang my hat here.

The email doesn’t say...but how long is the window open for? Do they just say ‘it’s been closed’ or is there a heads up that it will close? I wish they would give a date. I’m sure it would help many potential applicants, especially those that are on busy trips to make plans.

Also, currently at about 190 hours of PTO. I really wanted that built up. I’ve never sold. What’s the recommendation now? Sell some before a TA is signed? If so, how is that done? BCSS?
