Blue Dude has it pegged here on management and operations. Last night ORD-BOS was delayed 7hours. 7! Gigity has been here long enough to remember when we weren’t a joke on The Today show or USA Today’s Travel section. We need new jets and a new plan. Where are we going? and How are we going to get there?

Delayed flights between two major cities each experiencing lines of weather? Recipe for success at every airline.

Indeed. Let's look at how real airlines do it. To find jetblue keep scrolling down (past the regionals).

Clearly JB prioritizes other things over on-time. They'll rally the troops all they can to improve on-time but they won't do it at the expense of aircraft utilization or the expense of losing revenue. They know the tipping point better than you or I. All they care about is making the most $ per customer, and they're accomplishing that better than many "real airlines." I do encourage you to update your logbook and resume though, many posters here seem to find it cathartic.

I know it sucks when you're having a belly laugh at a 7 hour delayed JB flight only to see a 15 hour & 7.5 hr delayed real airline flight. Kinda takes the wind out of your sails.

Even 4.4 percentage points behind the next worse.
65.8%???
Difficult to get much better when a huge percentage of our flights operate out of the most delay plagued airports in the country. But, that was our company's choice.
