How would “we” do that? Door config is part of an aircraft’s certification. That’s an Airbus decision.

Correct

We will have to do an evacuation demo when we get our first one in June for certification

That's correct, but really only makes sense for Mint aircraft, which we aren't supposed to be getting for a couple of years or LR aircraft, which we aren't supposed to be getting.

Unless all NEOs are this way now?

3800 pilots should submit this in the next "name the plane contest" and in the hellojetblue comments when the "news" is published on hellojetblue.

I’m pretty sure all of our neos will have this ACF config, and wouldn’t be surprised if Airbus moved to this as the only config available. Maybe we’ll stuff another row or two of seats on the 321HDs? Or increase pitch a bit?

All 321NEOs will be this ACF config soon. It was scheduled for sometime in 2019 I believe.
