That’s irrelevant. CBAs are negotiated based on the current negotiating environment (ie “market rate”). The number of CBAs or longevity of a union on property (or age of an airline for that matter) does not relate in any way to the quality of a CBA.
Give me one example in any airline contract comparison guide that compares number of CBAs. I’ll save you some time: there aren’t any.

It’s not
Alpa: We want top international per diem
Mediator : JB is making plenty of money , sure you can have it!
It is
Alpa: We want top international per diem
Mediator : You guys have no international per diem and now you want top? International per diem is part of many contracts. Let’s meet in the middle, you can have it but at this rate...
Next time around we’ll be better positioned.

But here goes. Guys complain that if the habitual VDA/RSA crowd would stop then the entire group could all enjoy better QOL via improved company staffing and more upgrades. If line-holders/senior pilots stopped volunteering to be the company's reserve pilots on their days off, the company would be forced to plus up staffing in both seats to have ACTUAL reserves. That's their argument, which I don't exactly disagree with. But, when not in a Labor Dispute, it's not a particular hot button of mine.
MY point is, the habitual RSA/VDA crowd very much like their 120+ hours a month and don't WANT staffing fixed, even if much of the group does. They don't WANT proper staffing and 80 hours a month, they want ****-poor staffing and 120+ hours a month.
I know you struggle with basic concepts of communication and logic, but do you need this explained further or are you still as confused as you were trying to understand why JB pilots didn't already have an LOA to improve Profit Sharing?

Most of the guys yelling “don’t pick up RSA/VDA” are commuters who can’t pick them up anyway. I bet many of them if they moved to base would have them all over their schedule.
I’m on reserve in the worst staffed seat at this company. If I don’t have a problem with it no one should.

Talk to a negotiator and allow him/her to explain how the mediator looked at a given ask.

Again: the number of CBAs an airline has is irrelevant to where their CBA falls within their peer sets.
They don’t call you lowpayman for nothing...keep justifying being last amongst your peers though.

I’m very well aware of the negotiating process...and I talked to the NC a decent amount.

Did Delta have everything in the first contract that they have in the last? AA? United?
The first contract is the foundation of which all future CBA's that a company has is based off of just that .......the 1st one?
The above airlines don't have the scope that we have.
We announce a new city or a new aircraft no guessing....Jetblue ALPA Pilots will be doing the flying.
I am glad we did not follow any of the above airlines on their scope or their current CBA. We gave them something to strive for....
We have a good foundation SCOPE in our first CBA certainly not our last. Hopefully they can learn what we did on your first contract which they don't have in their #(enter current CBA edition).

I think that the number of CBA's a company has.....is important.
