Kalitta training info?

does anyone know how the training is set up at kalitta? whats their training pay (insert remark about sh!t pay here) and do you have to get your own place to stay etc? can you JS home on the weekends, and are they CASS yet?

I don't work there, but from another board;

$500 a Week, you pay hotel for ground school, about 5 weeks. They pay hotel during sim and IOE. No training contract.

is a type rating required and given out of training for FO's for intl ops?

I don't think a type is required to get hired. My understanding is that FO's are SIC Typed upon completion of training.

The SIC rating is now required even in the smaller aircraft too, such as the 727. It is part of the training now at most or all carriers.
