And if you add the lift they do for Fedex etc, they are likely higher.
Not that it matters though. |
I'm sure you noticed it's the highest of any ACMI or LLC/ULCC carrier
There is way more to a good contract and a final destination airline than just the pay. A few dollars higher than the next closest ACMI carrier and the rest of the contract sucks in almost all areas is something to think hard about. |

Didn't you guys give up most of your work rules in this last contract? |

They have already agreed on a complete overhaul of scheduling rules at Atlas. That article has already been TAd. |

No not hardly. Still have schedule protection preventing your awarded line from disappearing. After 2 reassignments you get 7 hrs pay, cannot arbitrarily put line holders on reserve. If a trip is taken over a weekend for training or management displacement you are off. It kind if goes on and on. Nobody really understands what great QOL items we have everyone just looks at who has the most pay. Even if it's 5 bucks more. |

as usual you have not one clue about what you comment on
That's funny...it's your fellow pilots who comment here about how the schedules, retirement and contract suck at K4. |
No one is really a surprise that pilots are leaving, it was inevitable given this contract. There are things to like here but unfortunately there are more aspects of this contract to dislike.
1. If you like working a 17-plus hour day as the new norm you will like it here. 2. If you like only getting min rest after working an extend duty day, you will like it here. 3. If you like not having any control of your schedule, you will like it here. 4. If you like getting 6% into your retirement account with no matching income from the company, you will like it here. 5. If you like the arbitrary 72-hour rule concerning your travel request, you will like it here. 6. If you like the new policy of crewmembers losing their hotel points, you will like it here. 7. If you like the smug attitude from management concerning this new contract, you will like it here. 8. If you like coming out to the aircraft and having a loading delay, maintenance problem, starting engines in the blocks, de-icing the aircraft, or perhaps you are sitting on the ground at an intermediate stop with zero compensation, you will like it here. Yes you read that correctly, we do not get paid when we start engines or de-ice sitting in the blocks, the aircraft must move two knots before we are on the clock. There are other reasons you will like working here, but let’s just say it is not the bed of roses, that some on this board would like for you to believe. I actually highly recommend this job as a great stepping stone to get out of the regional's, gather some valuable heavy international experience and leave. Or you can stay here, and plan on working extremely long days for the remainder of your carrier. |
so your saying that you work hard for the $300,000+ your making
Agreed you do Sorry you have min rest - we tried to get mandatory 3 day layovers while still paying you 100+ hours a month...but they just wouldn't go for it |
