Negotiations at K4 start in 16 days. Everyone seems pretty optimistic.

You’re delusional if you think the next contract is going to be quick.

Can't wait to see how the IBT will spin it so they can try to take credit for it

In theory, you’d think since the cargo world is in a downturn, the company would want to push a contract through quickly before it trends back the other direction, right?

I don't expect it to be quick. I simply said people seem optimistic.

I've been through long negotiations, 7+ years. Anything less than that would be great.

It can't be any worse than IBT right?!

Hopefully the IBT can work on Miami Air quickly too as it’s really terrible.

I’m not optimistic about ALPA but that ship sailed. We’ll wait and see I guess.

The beautiful thing is that K4 has a pretty decent deal right now on a supplemental carrier level. There should only be a few key points needing addressing. The unity of the K4 pilots when it came to standing up and taking control of their situation is admirable, so hopefully the ALPA contract will not be a long drawn out process and not be hung up for ulterior motives like the IBT contract.
