What exactly do you expect ? , the Aust Govt to make special provisions for laying over US crew
Yes the Victorian Police do look a bit over-zealous in the clips above , that isn't anything new
They will certainly win the contest for the best dressed riot police
Strategy was never an easy choice , it was either a ton of dead bodies or destroy the economy

Sure the Australian approach has been strict, a conservative approach has been taken in most of Asia with
almost all countries closed to foreign travel, 14 or 21 day quarantine for returning citizens & rolling never ending
lockdowns of one kind or other

Australian Gov oppresses as they feel necessary and seem to be a day late or a dollar short only from our perspective, well a quarter dollar short (maybe not for long before we tank). Either way, their freedoms eroded long ago with Gun control and whatnot as we enter this realm of unsubstantiated “clarity” ourselves this past year(s). All these governments trying to keep their control intact and press as far as possible. I thoroughly enjoyed our trips to Australia, but as soon as the criminal “CPAP super spreader” reared it’s unscientific cranium, this company payed tourist was out. Hope their immune system gets strong so I can chill there once again.

*Asia hasn’t eyeballed my CPAP ever - hope I didn’t jinx that just now… Next it will be the reading glasses I wear, the more blind you are the more apt I am to be a carrier?

Default Lockdown Over

Ok, so it's past Nov 1 - what's the latest

Do we still get tested?
Border Force escorts?
Clear customs in the terminal or back at the cargo bldg?
How's the new hotel and surrounding area?
thanks

No
No
Terminal
Not bad, similar to a Penta. In Sydney's China town. Ten minute walk to Darling Harbour area. Expensive area but cheap eats can be found.
