LAX Jumpseat
Evening,
Looking at a possible commute from SoCal to ANC early next year. I see Kalitta runs a 747 pretty frequently between the cities. I'm curious if schedules are posted anywhere. Also, how many typically can jumpseat on the 747 and is it typically full?
Any info much appreciated, thanks!

Don't think there's a schedule readily available, airplanes tend to get delayed and the whole schedule just falls behind. Usually, 6-8 seats in the back plus any available in the front airline tended to operate a lot of 4 pilot crews so be advised. I would say 99.9% of the time there will be a seat available for you, if you search Japan Airline Cargo LAX you'll find where the crews usually enter the airport.

Yeah the “schedule” is always jacked right now….but there are flights daily. So long as you have flexibility shouldn’t be a problem. If you’re commuting up there for work a more rigidly scheduled carrier may be a little less worry.
