Any hotels around IAD that give crew discounts?

Holiday Inn Dulles $69, Crowne Plaza $59. (They change their crew rate without notice during the holidays. But they do give upgrades if you ask and they have rooms.)

Try the Courtyard Chantilly...usually around 54...tell them you want the Airline Rate.

Crown Plaza or the Mariott Courtyard Chantilly are you best bet. If you are using one as your "crash pad" pick up a mariott visa card and stay at the Courtyard... earns a lot of points quick.

What is the easiest way to get into DC proper from IAD? The metro line isn't finished yet right? Metro bus?

If you go out mid level door Number 4 ( I think ), there you can catch the flyer bus that will take you to the metro. Show your ID and you'll get a discount. From the metro you can pretty much cover all of DC. Have fun!
