Sailing in Seattle

A (non-pilot) friend of mine has told me all you pilots are welcome to come to his sailing club and rent a boat on your next layover. Here's their web site, they are on Lake Washington, I think there's public transportation there from downtown, on the bus.

Ask for Caleb, mention Timbo, and he said he'd give you an Airline Pilot Discount! ;)

Sail Sandpoint is a non-profit sailing club, not a Fancy Yacht Club. They are about getting people out on the water, sailing, not standing aroud swilling martini's, while looking at expensive big boats that never leave the dock.

No tenis courts either, just sailing, but thanks for the offer of a tour of SEA, if/when I get back to SEA, after I'm done sailing, I'd love to go for the tour. ;)

Sounds like a great deal. If I fly there I will look into this if I have the time. Ive always enjoyed sailing and hardly ever get stuck in the middle of the bay.
