BOS & JFK crashpads

Probably putting the cart before the horse here but...

I've got an upcoming interview with Jetblue. Curious what the crashpad situations are like in BOS and JFK. Any info much appreciated.

Curious about $$, location, and, most importantly, access to transportation to/from the airport.

I'm not going to comment on the crash pad situation in BOS, since I am already a resident. However, you can get yourself a monthly T pass for $70 and that will get you anywhere within the 95/128 beltway on public transit. From there, craigslist a shared room. There are enough colleges and multi-family housing units in the area that you will be able of find something affordable on a JB pilot salary.

Are there a lot of commuters up there for JetBlue?

Same question for DAL...any SA on crashpads around DTW?
