What does everyone use?

I'm not everyone, but 16 years ago when I was a new hire in MIA, I stayed at the Baymont. 8 of us shared a room for a month. At the most, we had 4 there at one time (the 2 most junior guys slept on the floor). It was about $40/nite back then. Cheap, clean and convenient. Ah the good old days.... I don't miss it at all!

Try the Airways on 36th St. Sorta a hole, but not expensive, good restaurant.
