Sim Tech
OK. I have searched high and low for this, hopefully someone can help.
I am looking at possibly getting into the simulator technician industry.
Anyone have any ideas?
Seems there is always a posting for them at FSI, CAE,...
???
Are there specific schools for it? Where do I start?
Thanks.

Herc is right. You're basically the Maytag man 90% of the time. Then all of a sudden, three instructors from three different sims are calling at once for seperate problems! All the guys at my sim facility seem to like it.

Something I found out last year when I was going thru E170 initial at FSI STL was that each sim has to have a "preflight" done by a tech each morning to certify that it is up to FAA standards...... I found that quite interesting.
