Question, I have read on this forum that if you are going to get called for an interview they will 'mail' you a letter. Is this via snail mail or email, just curious. Also the opening mentioned above does not close until September, should I go in and reapply and 'massage' my KSA's?
Thanks again,

I don't know anything about a letter. If you get referred you may or may not get an interview. Now that the process is centralized they may send a letter. You get invited to travel to Denver on your dime. If you get an offer it will be contingent on passing a sim eval, again in Denver. That trip is on their dime.

Referred- may or may not get an interview. Made the list. Will remain that way until it closes or a long time depending on how long the posting is open.
Reviewed- Likely SOL. Don't meet some requirement somewhere.
Received- the first thing you know after application. Won't change until job closes, unless it is a long term posting.

So who knows!
All I can say is to keep trying, keep your résumé updated and tweak your KSA's periodically and bounce them off other people.

That was not true in my case back in the summer of '12. After the got the email from USAJOBS saying I was being considered, it wasn't more than 2 days when I received a call from one of the offices PAIs and asked if I was still interested? I said sure and was set up for a face-to-face the following week. After that, I didn't hear a peep for about 2 weeks. I then got a call from the FLM asking if I was still interested..I said Yes, then I was set up for a sim ride and the rest was history....

The last Application I submitted said referred the next morning. About a month to month and a half later I get an email and phone call to set up an interview. I was able to do that per Polycom. My interview did not go well in my opinion but now two weeks later my references are getting calls and one was told I am one of three in the running.
So who knows!

Thanks for the info. I did not know that once you app was 'received' you could go in there and tweak it, THANK YOU for that I will go take a look.
Now another question, can you tweak your KSA's while and app is referred?
Thanks,

[QUOTE=Deadbone;1893753]Don't know when that was. Last year or so all I know of are trips to Denver. Either way, it has changed in the last year.[/QUOTE
