Of curiosity, what is it that you think you were saying, when you typed that? Whatever it was, did you think it through before you typed it?

The value of an aviation employee

The point I was trying to make was in regards to how void of value a pilots career is to employers. We are cannon fodder at best, consumable and disposable. We are standardized and trained to be ultimately replaceable in short order. No one can rise above the station their place in the seniority list dictates. Our benefit limited to one seat in one plane.

Paid more for what we will do over what we can do.

SkyHigh,

When did you quit aviation? How long did you give it? I tried to find an old thread explaining your back story (out of morbid curiosity) but couldn't. Reading back threads on here it looks like you quit at least 9 years ago, maybe as much as 17 years ago. The amount of time you've spent on here (based on post count/content & years) is mind boggling and borderline deranged. You need to man-up and own your decision to leave. I've known people like you. You are poison, trying to drag everyone else down with you in your self pity.

Uh huh. So that's what you thought you were saying, then?

It wasn't.

Think about it a little more and you may figure it out. Your'e embarrassing yourself.

Nasty

I don't think anyone one who has pursued a career as a pilot has not come across people who have left aviation because of some of the reasons Skyhigh has tried to communicate. Why is there a pilot shortage?

Responses that attack and insult another person, even if you think that person is 180 degrees off, says volumes about the person posting the attack.
So you disagree with Skyhigh, are you such a small person you need to publicly attack and insult him.

How smart is it to attack and insult a person on a public forum?

You're new here.

Responding to skyhigh's stupidity isn't an attack. Neither is quoting him and responding to his quotes.

Do a little research.

"... it's absolutely true. People have quit airline jobs for less before. Of course that requires one looks at it as a mere job, not a religion one would be blasphemous to attempt to leave."

Sir,

I would be proud to buy you as many beers on any Layover as required to hear this clear headed logic.

It is the Essence ( Rainwater and Grain Alcohol ) of my Career.

God Bless You and Carry On with these Teachings.

I would be proud to buy you as many beers, on any Layover, as required to hear this clear headed logic first-hand.

It is, and has been, the Essence ( Rainwater and Grain Alcohol ) of my Career.

I would add: "..Realize it is a mere job, and Money is not a religion. "

God Bless You and, Carry On with these Teachings.
