Trump is a LYAH. He made some YUGE promises for votes-and he let us down. Complete fraud.
He's actually doing what he said he would do.

I read someplace that is keeping a tally that so far he has commitments for around 2 million new jobs.

Since when did pilots become the only ones with a vested interest in the success of their airlines. Airlines employee a whole lot more people than just pilots. Here are some numbers for you to further enforce the importance of this:

Delta Air Lines: More than 80,000 employees
American Airlines: Over 118,000 employees
United Airlines: Around 86,000 employees

The list goes on...

Boeing: about 156,000 employees

To say that Boeing employs more than the airlines is a bit of an overstatement.

You act like the airlines are shutting down. The risk is to inferential flying to Europe and that risk is small.

Bull$7it. It doesn't take a stretch of the imagination to see how they will try to "invade" the U.S. market from other parts of the world.

Boeing subs out a lot of work all over the country and the world. Trump is appearantly willing to diminish a few high paying jobs in order to help many more that have been pushed completely out of work.

First off, do a little research on the impact that the NAI decision will have. For reference, you may want to look at the marine shipping industry. There is only one single passenger ocean liner currently registered in the U. S. Ships registering in Bahamas, Liberia, or Bermuda are exempt from federal regulations and, more importantly, U. S. labor laws. Say goodbye to ALPA and Teamsters and these decent contracts that we have fought so hard for.

Source?

If you are referring to Boeing jobs, A Boeing employee will work for a couple of months building a 787 and pilots will fly them for 30+ years. Which plan will employ more workers for more hours? Boeing seems to have no problems selling planes (unless Trump tweets something threatening about them) so NAI would probably buy the planes without the deal anyway.

For the first 6 years of the Obama presidency all we heard was how everything was Bush's fault. Trump is in office 1 month and he is to blame for everything, even decisions that were made by the prior admin.

Policiticans care only about their reputation and numbers. He doesn't care who orders Boeing planes. If it increases job numbers and makes him look good he will do it so he can say look I created x US jobs.

Even if the company only hires half US pilots if it creates jobs to prop up numbers that's all he cares about. He doesn't care if it drags the domestic airline pay down. We care but he doesn't - he is already rich. All politicians already "got theirs". He needs to pad the numbers so when he runs in 4 years he can say he created more "US jobs".
