Default Trump At Boeing.....

Sure an interesting speech.

He is doing an awful lot of bloviating about "American Jobs" this and that..... Fighting for every last American job and such.

Sure is ironic-considering how much our industry is going to get screwed by his idiotic decision on NAI (and the tons of imitators who will follow that model.)

When did Trump make a decision on NAI?

He made the decision by not acting. Not acting is a decision.

Has he said he won't act?

Also, why aren't you placing the blame on Obama's DOT who actually made the ruling?

I do...... But Trump had the opportunity to kill that thing as well.....

We all knew Obama was a huge globalist-and didn't give a crap about US workers.

Trump talked a big game throughout the election. Unfortunately, he was completely full of crap.

Trump is a LYAH. He made some YUGE promises for votes-and he let us down. Complete fraud.

Plus, his press secretary addressed the issue directly. He pretty much said that the manufacturing jobs Boeing would get from an NAI order outweigh all the jobs which could be lost by NAI.

I think Trump (like most people) fails to see the difference between a good pilot and a bottom feeder who would fly a 787 for rj pay (and no work rules, no rest regulations, etc etc.) I have a strong feeling people will have to discover this distinction the hard way.

Trump has been in office for one month. It's a little early for the scorecard.

Look at it from a non-biased position. Boeing is more important to the economy than a small segment of jobs that are at risk from the ME3 and NAI. If Boeing doesn't sell aircraft airbus will.

Obama made the decisions months ago. Thank him.

Look we lost the NAI battle before we even started waging it. The best thing going forward is that once foreign ownership is allowed our respective airlines hitch our trailers to global leaders.

.
So, the health of the legacy US airlines is less important than a handful of boeing orders? (Airline employees sure won't be the only ones hurt by this nonsense.)

Incredibly short sighted by all these guys.

Again re-read what I said. Boeing is as a whole is more important than the thousand or so pilots at the legacies that may or may not be affected by the mess of transatlantic.
