Flight app for pilot commuters

I've been using "Flight Track" for years because it was simple to find flights between city pair - they pulled the plug on this app and am looking for advice on an easy to use Flight App. Any recommendations??

I've switched to FlightView Elite. $3, has the same functionality as flightview and more. Also replaces Flightboard, which also died. They have a free version with ads too. Only advice I have is go into settings and turn off codeshares. Otherwise each flight ends up listed 3 times.

Do any of these apps replicate the FIDS displays like FlightBoard did? I haven't been able to find an app that does.

The developer of FlightTrack Pro actually was offering a new version, FlightTrack 5, for which one had to pay again.

The reviews of it in the Apple app store were horrible, mostly one star.

Then suddenly, every trace of the new app -- and of the developer (Mobiata) -- disappeared from the app store altogether.

I'm holding out hope that they learned from that disaster, and are working on a new app that is as user-friendly as FlightTrack v.4 was.

Yep, Flight Track was the shizz super easy and well laid out. FlightView is my temporary solution and works well enough hoping for something new again from Mobiata. My understanding is that they were purchased by Expedia so not sure what is going on.

I've been using flightstats on the iPhone, free with some small ads. I like that it remembers cities you use often.

I used to use flightboard from Mobita all the time. That app is now obsolete. There's an app just like it called miFlightBoard. Block in, then search for a flight going where you want to go. Especially useful at airports with more than one airline using them as a hub (ORD, NYC). It lacks few functionality I liked on the original flight board, but I think it'll be fixed eventually.

It appears Next Flight isn't working either. I think they were a different company though. I liked that app to quickly see the next flights between a city pair.
