Solar works surprisingly well and efficiently up here. The cool temperatures make more of a difference in the panel efficiency than many give creedence to.
My neighbor runs his entire 2900 sq/ft house and boat house/dock off of a south facing panel array. . and still sells some back every month.
He said he got a little close in January of this year.
I'm on Lake Tapps fwiw.

I have Xfinity for cable and internet. Too many trees for a dish to work. Tmobile works ok for me, but really shines if you fly international.
If you're here Friday (24th) drop by Finholm's 5-7 for the monthly tap takeover. It's across the street from Anthony's.

Comcast (i.e. Xfinity) has a lock on Gig Harbor, we don't have the internet options the Tacoma peeps have.
I had Verizon years ago and was happy with it. AT&T now and it's fine. ATT fixed a couple of dead spots near my house recently so now I have few issues.
I "cut the cable" a few years ago, and the only channel I can get with an antenna is Fox13. The other big stations broadcast from Seattle and I can't pick them up. But, I'm on the West side of the peninsula at about 100' MSL.
