Default Trump Supports Ex-Im Bank...

Just proof that neither side of the aisle is supportive of U.S. airlines.

In win for Boeing and GE, Trump says he wants to revive export bank

Who and what do you think is more important to the economy as a whole? Boeing or a couple thousand pilots?

Pilots and flight attendants and ground support and administration support and reservations and.. The list goes on. Lots of US jobs at stake when we sell Boeing products cheaper to compete against our own businesses.

Probably the aviation industry, without it Boeing wouldn't be here. What percentage of a Boeing plane is made in the US anyway? If they are going to keep the program around then US airlines need to have access to those loans.

The largest export in the United States is Aerospace & Defense. Boeing is the largest Aerospace & Defense company in the world. It would be downright dumb to not support the Ex-Im bank.

All political policies should revolve around what airline pilots want.

Don't let the tail wag the dog. Focus more on why our airlines are so noncompetitive. Our government uses the airlines as a piggy bank.

The Ex-Im Bank provides below cost loans to foreign airlines to purchase aircraft. My understanding is that it doesn't go to defense. The solution has already been proposed. There needs to be an economic analysis to figure out what is more economic advantageous to American companies which want to be eligible for Ex-Im Bank loans.

If you add up the total number of US based airline employees, the number far exceeds those of Boeing.

He bashed the Ex Im bank nonstop during the election.... But as with all things Trump, you never know what you are gonna get.
