Unless it was my company metal on my qualified aircraft, I would make damn sure it would be a stuff is going to hit the fan situation unless I say something. I am not familiar with other airlnes SOPs or other aircraft procedures. For example, at my airline there is no requirement for the engines to be spooled.
I've spent a lot of my career riding online and offline jumpseats. I'll speak up when, and only when, I have a concern about the safe conclusion of the flight. Otherwise, I'll say thanks for the ride and maybe ask the Captain a question or two after we are safely at the gate if something very (make that VERY, VERY) significantly gave me pause. Online or offline, I'd have to be very concerned about an immediate chance of death, dismemberment, or violation to the working crew before I felt it appropriate to call a go-around from the jumpseat.

This is why, whenever a mainline guy is in a CRJ jumpseat (especially the -200), we ask 'em if they've ridden a CRJ jumpseat before. If you haven't, you're likely to think the airplane is about to lawn-dart into the pavement in those final 100' to touchdown. We had a 747 guy practically try to crawl out the escape hatch during the 'flare'...

The one and only time I rode up front on a -200 the crew briefed me. They ask me if I had ever ridden up front on one. I told them now. They proceeded to tell me, "Ok, when we come in to land, we're going to pointed straight at the ground. Please don't scream."
