I recommend visiting Templo Mayor, the museum, and adjacent cathedral. A good hike down Paseo de la Reforma takes you to Chapultepec Park, with its hilltop castle.

In MEM you have a habeus corpus, in Mexico you dont. Oh, then theres that little thing you might get whisked away for ransom or get your head lopped off. Other than that pretty similar dont ya think?

That's a lot of fear you seem to be living in. You're not overnighting in Juarez.

If you have an interest in archaeology, ask the hotel about a guided excursion to Teotihuacan. When the Aztecs arrived from the north and saw it, they kept moving, because the giants who built it might still be lurking about.

I enjoy MMMX because it has kept me off reserve more than once!! Be prepared for DME crossing restrictions and configure early! All good!

Did a off station there once, holy sxxx that STAR/approach caught us off guard! The approach dumps you on a 5 mile final, in IMC! Bumpy, very bumpy, thankfully it has a long runway....

Has anyone seen the fake runway yet?

I've only seen pictures, but that's a real hard one to explain
