JetBlue reserve

Question:
If hired today into the E190, how long could you expect to sit reserve?
Is there any truth to the rumor that JetBlue is in talks with Express Jet as a potential feeder? I know it sounds weird but that is what I heard.

aca, I'm not sure just how long the 190 reserve F/O's are running now. Currently I believe it is only a couple of months. I spoke with a F/O the other day that is upgrading to the 190 CA in a year and half time.

The answer to your 2nd question is no. Express Jet is only planned to be operating JB flights through the end of April and Embraer is footing the bill due to QC troubles on the 190 jets which are slated to be corrected by the end of April.

I spent 5 months on reserve, but that was Boston. NY guys spent only a month or three.
