It's a deadly sin for a reason. It destroys society.
Take away the motivating force that's being characterized as privilege and you take away the motivation to be productive.
If it becomes a sin to have anything, there will be no motivation to produce anything.
Believe it or not, this country is better than most others. It's better, not because our history has strived for equality of outcomes, but cultivated - better than most - equality of opportunity.

It's good that you're taking a break, reflecting and recognizing the hot-button issue(s)--particularly racial, that cause your posts to come off in such highly confrontational fashion. While you're taking a break, it might be a good time to review the history of your posts. I won't post them as it would literally take up pages but suffice to say there's a definite trend of anger evidenced through sharply-worded, negative terms used against those who disagree with you. Given their intervention, the moderators appear to agree. Best to focus on the issue, not the person.
Apologies if I'm telling you something you're already beginning to realize. The contrition you show in this post is a good start. Kudos to you for manning up.
