I also didn't want to try bending it, as the plastic looked like it would break.

Well I was able to bend mine just enough to take a little pressure off. If you do too much it won’t be secure on your noggin. If it breaks send the thing back and tell em it’s defective.

The experience varies dramatically with howcyou insert the ear tips, where you place the side pads on temples and which ear bud size you use. I got use to mine after having a medium ear bud on left and small on right and playing with where it sits on my head.

Well, looks like version two is out. They have made it lighter and made the cord thinner. And they bumped the warranty to five years. And they have paired with a company that makes custom ear molds.

Anyone thinking of giving these another try?

Just found out that “böse,” in German, means “evil.”

Curious what the Lufthansa guys think....

First trip with proflight v2 was pretty good! A little bit of getting used to with the "flow" of putting on the headset, but it's overall very comfortable and the ANR works great even on medium (high is like extreme ANR, so much so that I can barely hear the engines). Packing the headset up is a bit more of a pain just managing the earbud wires, and the case seems to be just a tad too small to where it presses down on the headset slightly when closed. But in general it's a step up from my previous over the ear headset. I tried out the bluetooth briefly and connecting to different devices/playing music was easy. Also the quality seems to be robust, but with it being so light weight I tend to be more gentle when putting on/taking off. Only weird thing I noticed was intercom sounds different in your ears. However feedback from the crew I flew with says the mic sounds great on their end. Feel free to PM with more questions.
