How do you like this then? When used in moderation, both marijuana and alcohol provide very little benefit or risk to health or safety. When used in excess, both can cause serious risk. People like to demonize weed and portray recreational users as drug addicts when they’re not. We live in a society where alcohol and tobacco are responsible for over 500,000 deaths per year, where our high carb/sugar diet has caused an explosion in type 2 diabetes, yet weed is what we demonize.
