Did I forget westjet? Second one. Fair enough on TAP

He nailed the first 4, now 30 yrs later (from Morris) he's got all that experience and a lot more money and investment credibility. Plus he has with him a team of early or original JetBlue people plus early Virgin people, Allegiant planners and CFO, etc.

I'd say he's got a solid chance at making this another success

Five years?! Where did you come up with that?

True, but the old adage of the stock market “previous successful returns is no guarantee of successful returns in the future” etc.

If your young, newly unemployed (unfortunately) and typed, it’s very little risk. It may work out and it very well may not.

His main competition is Allegiant. It probably works out in the end, but eventually there is only so much of a market to realistically capture given what they are tying to become. It’s by no means a slam dunk just because he hasn’t necessarily failed yet.

Breeze is going after the lowest competitive market in the industry (around 100 seats), with industry low pay labor, A/C lease that they basically stole. DN’s competitors are currently fighting BK, and burning cash daily. Breeze could be more successful that his other ventures combined.

As you stated, zero risk huge reward for furloughed pilots. Not to mention from a motivational standpoint, you’re now competing directly against Delta in SLC, which if your a Compass furlough, is personal.
