no per diem on reserve because no flying
-$300 per month crash pad
-$300 per month health insurance
-$125 ALPA
11 days off but commute on at least 4 of them.

bottom line = less than Breeze

This is the problem. When justifying going to breeze, you compare it to regionals…and you have a close comparison. That’s the sad part and what they are preying on. Compare yourselves to majors. You shouldn’t be anywhere near regionals.

health insurance for a family of 4 is net net $22 per month.
Thanks for bringing this up. What are the A220-300 rates for 1/2 year CA/FO? That way we can get some apples to apples with other operators of A220-300s.

wasnt my idea to compare it to Envoy. The question was asked. I responded.

nobody is flying the A220-300 yet. The pay scale will probably change 3-4 times before anyone earns hourly pay on that plane.

Exactly. It's all justification. But they get to work for Neeleman! Did you know he started JetBlue???

At least JB got stock options and created some millionaires who took a chance on them and accepted the low start up pay. This thing is a joke and should be labeled a scab airline. Dave Behncke is turning in his grave

scab? Really? You should probably learn a thing or two about airline and pilot union history before using that term. You clearly have no idea what it means.

Haha. Okay junior. Call me back when you have 25 years in the airline industry. You don't know what you don't know.

In the early days of the airlines, thats exactly what this would have been called. Read Flying The Line sometime. It should be required reading for anyone who wants to play airline pilot.

why wouldn’t a regional FO who gets called by Breeze but not called by mainline not compare Breeze to his current job? That’s the right comparison. Where I’m at versus where I have the option to go.

if you drive a 20 year old beater car and you want to replace it do you say no I don’t want the new Honda Civic because it’s not a BMW. I’ll keep my Ford Pinto because the Honda is not a BMW. that’s foolish.
