Sounds like for those already there, it must not be that bad considering most of the people complaining seem to be from other airlines. I was disappointed with their new hire vaccine mandate but sounds like they thought better of it now. I'm trying to figure out if it's worth throwing an application in if people are able to get TPA right away again considering there seems to have been some movement and more bases are opening up.

Is there more of a delay for 220 arrivals than anticipated? Did the pre-recoded interview for CA qualified FO for the 220 and received an invite to interview F2F for FO 190. Maybe they changed their mind or are they holding off of 220 hires for now?

Rumor is the 220 is being put on the back burner for now. FAA won’t allow breeze to add it to the ops specs. Allegiant is in talks with airbus and will probably take over the breeze 220’s for now, kinda like JB did back in 2020. Breeze is going to be an east coast regional without further expansion for the foreseeable future.

i have never worked with a happier more friendly group of people. I’m new and it’s kind of weird, in a nice way, how genuinely happy and friendly everyone is. I’m very glad I made the move.

CHS is a junior base for FOs. Half the last class of new hire FOs went to CHS. But things change around here all the time.

E-jet flying is all out and back and the plan is to keep it that way. Live where you fly, fly where you live.

the official unveiling and welcome of the first A220 is next Tuesday. So, no, there is no delay. There is no back burner.

Where does TPA stand as far as new hires being able to hold it? Do they actually give a commuting stipend for commuters?
