So much fake info on here, the code is BREEZYBOIS + Employee #

If you guys are concerned about the low pay rate at Breeze...you could just break out the tip jar at the end of each flight...

have the FO learn how to juggle and the captain could play a song on the ol’ guitar as passengers walk past.

Default Upgrades?

I’ve put my name in the hat as an FO at Breeze. If I were to receive an offer what does the upgrade landscape look like? I have *barely* enough qualifying 135 and 121 time to qualify. Has anyone upgraded FO->CA yet? Is there any pressure or JM upgrade expectation?

E195 or A220? Big difference between how the two types will operate eventually (out-and-backs like Allegiant on the E195 vs typical airline layovers and multi-day trips on the A220).

E195 and out and back is the appeal for me. I would like to think I could get comfortable in the aircraft and upgrade in a short period (500 hrs)?

Upgrades are based entirely on seniority. I don't know what the landscape will look like in the next few months, but i would be willing to bet upgrade could happen in 6-8 months.

Is the E-Jet now officially part of the long term plan for the airline moving forward or do they still plan on retiring them once they get all the A220s, which is what now over 5 years if they're going to be taking one a month?

Pretty sure the 190/195 has always been part of the long term plan to cover lower frequency/utilization sub 2 hour stuff, while the 220 is to cover longer stuff with higher utilization. And now I’m hearing and reading about them potentially getting 100-200 190/195s with how cheap they’ve gotten for the long term, or at least for the useful life of them.

That makes sense, I just thought originally the plan was for Breeze to start in 2020 with all A220s, and then the reality of what was going in the world and the fact Airbus can only build A220s so fast caused them to go with the E-Jet and delay their launch for a year. I would think there will be a decent amount of E190s coming available from Jetblue in the coming years, so it would make sense for Neelman to pick those up, especially considering they were his planes to begin with.

Those JetBlue 190’s have been worked hard. Not sure how cost effective to use, regardless how cheap. Probably due for new engines
