Last time I checked, pilots weren’t being forced to apply to Breeze. For the longest time Spirit was berated as the “ghetto” airline that undercut everyone’s wages and hurt contract negotiations and now Spirit has one of the better contracts and job prospects out there.

How about we give Breeze a chance to prove itself without so much animosity and ill will? If it can’t succeed, whatever assets are available will likely be bought out by JB (I think the long term plan is to merge the two anyway).

There will always be haters and anonymous naysayers (especially on APC), but I think we should give Breeze a chance to prove itself over the next 12-18 months. If Breeze can’t improve pilot pay over time the airplanes will eventually sit idle and JB will swoop in. Let’s see if it works.

Definitely a difference between being called out for being a dong then “the cancel culture” coming after you.

Margarita is miserable because he’s been at allegiant a long time and he knows Breeze will by far be a better airline. Breezes pay after 7 months is on par with allegiant after 25 years lol (and they fly smaller equipment). The pilot shortage at Breeze will increase pay and improve work rules because unlike allegiant, Breeze is getting BRAND new airplanes that MUST be flown.

Guys.. gals.. stop pekin' a fight with Margy. She's clearly enjoying a few every time she posts. And we can't blame her for that. 🍻

Don't even try to come at me with your recent "pay policy" increase, because without a union or a contract, that's gone with the stroke of a pen.

This airline was created for the sole purpose of undercutting all the LCC and ULCC airlines with cheap slave labor working for SkyWest pay, because you get to strut around and brag about your Big Shiny Jet. You are actively undercutting every pilot who paid their dues and laughing in our faces about it.

Keep going. You're the only ones laughing. Good luck with the rest of your careers in a couple of years when this experiment ends.
So let me get this straight, you come on here and give us a hard time for accepting low wages. Then when we get a bit of an increase to come with in a few dollars of the Allegiant pay scale, we are the "cancer of the industry"? I don't know if you've heard but sunny got a new contract, that means in terms of pay Avelo, Breezy Bois and Allegiant are fighting for last place. Not everyone here is high on the coolaid. Most want a union, better pay and a solid contract. Hopefully it happens soon cause people are leaving and staffing will be a massive problem.

Default botched interview

Hey folks, I applied about 2 months ago and made steady progress through the application process. Recorded the video interview, got the live interview a couple weeks later. Received a TBNT's within the promised time frame. 12500 TT, all 135, No 121. Currently a Medevac/Charter Lear Capt.

Had obtained the questions through aviationinteviews.com. They were all seemingly softball HR type questions, no tech stuff. Thought I prepared well, between charter runs, but didn't. Upon reflection, my answers didn't even completely match the thought process I had going in. Only aced 1, maybe
2 questions. Some times you dont have your best day.

I really like Breeze's southern coastal bases, might re-apply down the road. I have a 121 big jet bug late in my career. Getting pro interview help the next time an interview comes up. I have a great job right now so I'm good.

My advice - prep thoroughly your answers. More than just a concept. Be authentic. Best of luck to all.

Because nothing say authentic like paying someone to teach you how to answer the questions.

Is there any training delay on the 220 side? I'm not quite to 3,000/1,000 and I'd like to apply, but I don't want to apply now and be locked into the 190 so I guess I'll wait a few more months until I have the 220 mins. Mostly wondering if they're putting anybody in the pool with slightly less time.

I rarely post on here anymore, unless it’s about NK, but serous question. Are you brand new to this career field or something?

This isn’t some $50-60K a year corporate America office job. We’re talking about a multi-million dollar career (depending on years left).

Interviewing (post regionals) has far more stress and major implication than I would say most any other career field with similar pay. There are thousands of hospitals for Doctors to practice at. Tens of thousands of law firms. Both can open and run their own practices.

For all intents and purposes (and for simplicity and practical sense) you have only 6 or so jobs to try and land. The Big 6. (Its becoming more like the Big 8 with LCC contracts now), but you get the idea. That’s it.

You fail one and now your down to 5. Another? 4… Meanwhile my GF and corporate America friends have almost endless options.

So yeah, It’s really not idiotic to spend money, time to prep and do everything humanely possible to put yourself in the best position.

Tell me you’ve never done airline interview prep, without telling me you’ve never done airline interview prep….
