The only Australian I ever even saw, anywhere, was a DL FA who on the O dark thirty van ride to the airport from the hotel had to make her support for gun control known, and was promptly shut down by one of our female pilots. But who knows, maybe some of them who have just gotten punched in the balls about the realities of totalitarian government with no meaningful opposition, might jump at the opportunity to come here. Still, I think you have to be delusional if you believe Breeze is going to be able to staff their entire airline with Australians.
The “female pilot” shut her down by telling her how great it is to have so many people in our country being killed by guns? I really want to know the details on how she was shut down? I’m on the edge of my seat.

Don't know what she said but it is not that hard. First of all nobody from Australia has any ground to stand on criticizing another country considering how utterly ridiculous it is over there right now. For a group of people to so freely give up their freedoms to power hungry politicians what right do they have to criticize? Secondly, if you take out all the gun violence from all the violent criminals who were given ridiculously small bails, or bailed out by a progressive organization, or let out of jail earlier than their sentence entailed combined with the violent democrat ran cities the statistics for gun violence takes a huge noise dive. Probably something along those lines.

Fact Check: More people are saved by guns than are murdered by guns!

I never saw anyone hand fly a Boeing in that mode. The funny thing is the more you move that stick the worse most people fly it as the computers are always trying to correct any attitude changes and you end up working against each other. I have watched guys steering that stick like they are trying to make whipped cream on a bumpy approach. I often ask them to let go of the stick. Things get much better. That’s why you see experience Airbus drivers simply bump the stick now and then when they want a attitude change.
The A220 is however a completely different FBW system that incorporates multiple feedback inputs through rate motion feedback and speed sense. To semi quote AvWeek the A220 tries to engage the pilot in what the aircraft is doing. The rest of the Airbus fleet tries to isolate the pilot. The 787 FBW system is similar to the A220 in design thought.
When I disconnect all the automation and I pull back on the stock the plane pitches up. When I push the stick it pitches down. I’m able to roll the plan with side stick movement, and I can stomp a pedal and yaw it. The craziest thing happens when I pull the thrust back, the engines power down. It’s almost like it’s responding to my control inputs. I guess that’s not flying though…

Back to the joys of breeze…

Flying back today on an NG. Wow 7 inches less width. But the seats look exactly the same!!! That’s because they are. The 7 inches is taken out of the isle. Not added to each seat. Can still hear the engines, just like on the NEO. I can see the Breezie Boyz out the window 2 gates over. The uniforms for the FAs look like a Catholic School uniform. Nice shoes. Aleveo was supposed to be next to us but they are delayed for something.

Ehhhhh…17” vs 18” seat width.

Also, an aisle is the pathway between seats, an isle is a small piece of land surrounded by water.

Breeze is losing an A220 Cadre pilot at the end of the month… but yeah… no retention problems.
