Comical? You guys making money yet? Nope....but investors are "throwing money" at you according to the other Breeze guy. Why would they need to keep infusing money into an airline than is making money. Spirit goes into airports that will make them money, they dont throw a dart at a wall as say "hey, let's fly from HPN to LAX" where service has never been established.
And this whole argument about getting Airbus slots, Avianca already flys the 320 variant and has done business with Airbus for years. You guys kill me, you're never going to fly anything larger than 220's unless someone decides to acquire you.

I also never said the carrier as a whole is making money, but the vast majority of routes are profitable on an individual operational standpoint. No startup airline is profitable until they hit the point of critical mass where the overhead cost of upper management and the back end of the operation is being paid for by the operation as a whole.
David has a 20+ year relationship with Airbus, they will make room for him and if you don’t believe that then you really don’t understand the interconnection the industry has. The industry is more than just the United States. There are carriers all around the world that are facing issues where they deferring delivery of aircraft.
Again Spirit opens and cuts routes all the time. Your acting like they don’t.
Again you have no clue what your talking about when it comes to Breeze.

I have a buddy that just finished up class at Breeze.
Here is what the higher ups are saying;
Opening up a San Juan base fourth-quarter this year doing a lot of Caribbean hopping.
Yes opening up Fort Lauderdale or MIA hub and going down south with the A321XLR to deep South America. Starting with São Paulo.
Trying to set up a corporate account with Amtrak for some deadheading up in the Northeast Or moving pilots around the country

Breeze leadership subtly threatening another pilot who’s on their way out??
It’s like they love ruining their kindness and integrity which, for those of you prepping for an interview at the world’s nicest airline, are two of the core values.

Can anyone shed some light on what the current schedules are like on the E190? I’m thinking if I get hired I’d probably my commute for the first year and see where bases open up.
New to PBS so would it be possible to work six days twice a month? I’d want to spend the least amount of days commuting as possible.

I have a video interview with Breeze a week from now for the E190/195. I live in Atlanta, so I was just wondering if commuting from here is possible?

So what would a normal schedule look like for a new guy on the E190/195 if it's just one day trips. I'm very open to flying for Breeze after looking at everything. I'm just a little unsure of how the schedule would work. You said earlier "I have 20 days off including a block of 11 days straight". If I could do something similar being new that would be great.
Also is Charleston (KCHS) still an option for new hires? It's a 5 hour drive for me from Atlanta so about the same as flying.

Honestly, things are changing quickly around here. I wouldn't count on 20 days off right away because that usually happens when you're top two in base, but with new bases opening soon, people are going to be moving around a lot, so top two in a base may not be far away.
And yes. guys are getting CHS out of training recently, or maybe a month or two later. Again, if it were today, you might get stuck Reserve in ORF for a couple months. But by the time you get through training, everything will be different than today.
Not helpful, but accurate.

the Ejets are all day trips. Some days are front end commutable some are back end commutable. However none of them are both front and back end and because of the times they are scheduled for as well as length you typically can’t get the trips to abut each other to be commutable on both ends.
the A220 is going to be even worse based off of the initial schedule. The two day trips will be a very early 5-6 AM show, flying two legs ending up on the west coast, followed by a ~24hr overnight, and then two legs back to the east coast base the following day arriving between 9-11PM. So you won’t be able to put two two-day trips back to back on that fleet.
Reserve is 11 days off, you will be lucky to spend 6-8 nights actually at home if your commuting to reserve.
until we are consistently flying 7 days of the week, the schedules will suck for the majority of pilots here unless you live in base. The number one pilot here is a commuter. He should be able to get exactly what he wants but yet he almost never gets his schedule the way he bid because the company throws extra trips on everyone’s schedule to cover the flying.
