Never seen that??? There is plenty of open time, but Iíve never heard one pilot here just randomly have trips added. Unless maybe youíre talking about reserve? Then itís just like being onÖ reserve?

If they throw it on a line holder, just refuse it and make a deal to fly it for premium or donít fly it at all.

The way that I read it is that the very senior guy bids the required amount of flying time to make a line and that's what he expects to be awarded. Instead, the company gives him that flying PLUS additional flying that he didn't bid when he's awarded a line. But it may be the way you stated; that additional flying is thrown at them after line award.

Company provides one camper van in each of the base parking lots. Sleeps up to 7, if two pilots occupy the front seats.

CHS has the best scenery IMO. But the MSY crews have been known to get wild on Bourbon St.

no, they continuously say you need to bid between 75-85hrs and that person does, and then he gets an extra trip or two added during the awarding process that he didnít bid for that puts him into the 85-95hr range. This has been happening consistently to a lot of people.

and they typically add trips that are in the middle of his long stretch of days off.

Most commuters I would say are looking at different carriers. The 220ís will be way more commuter friendly but everyone on property aside from cadre are locked into the 190 for 3 years. I would not come to BreeZe to be a commuter.

So why does Breeze not fly on Tuesday and Wednesday (and possibly Saturday) for the E190/195? Also, does that mean that you mostly fly on the weekends?

Because TP and LJ are from Allegiant, they are replicating the G4 model of low frequency. The bulk of your flying will be weekends, lots of Fridays, Sundays and single days off. Commuter hell. Think of it as Allegiant with a bigger grin on their face.

Those days are the off peak travel days generally speaking. Tampa had Saturday flying from very early on in the operation but the other bases didn't. It wasn't until PBI started that the other 3 bases started getting Saturday Flying. Additionally, Wednesday Flying has begun to trickle into the system as well. What has prevented an expansion on those days is we were not staffed to fly 7 days a week. So until then, I would expect the Wednesday/Saturday flying to still be rather limited.
