I count one pilot remaining from the august class and one pilot from the September class. My math tells me that’s 84% attrition. I should not have rounded up, my apologies.

Between the 100 DEC and the 30 or so Ejet Transitions, the A220 fleet will be staffed with enough CAs that Any additional CAs will naturally occur from Upgrades.
First officer positions will begin bidding fleets rather than applying for specific fleets next month.

The shortsightedness of the company pulling the 190 out of TPA before the Airbus was going (smoother), coupled with the fact we only have 5 cadre, coupled with the fact that the FAA can’t find availability to do Fed Rides, coupled with the fact pilots decide to go to a legacy and staffing is tight.

It doesn’t matter how many pilots you have if you can’t do fed rides to get the people flying the line… It’s been just under two weeks that we finally have been able to do those in house but there are still the issues of Green on Green crews unless one of five cadre pilots are in the flight deck.
The Ejet fleet has zero Reserve coverage for June yet it’s covering its own reduced flying and A220 flying.

So with all the cancelations, the company has decided to cancel pairings and put all the pilots on reserve for a 12 hour RAP instead of the pairing footprint.
additionally, they have junior manned people into additional flying by combining remaining flying and aren’t paying anything extra for it in the form of critical pay or even junior manning pay.
Meanwhile CHS crews are being offered critical pay trips at 300% to do flying that the TPA base should have been doing while the rest of the pilots make straight pay while their entire schedules get crapped on.
