what's the pull for you? Are you in a breeze base or something? Why not go to a regional where you are a known quantity that they are prepared to bring along? fly the line for 6 months then apply.

Man you people can’t even be bothered to read just a few posts up????
No the training hasn’t been tailored. If you aren’t typed and have no 121 experience, good luck. The wash outs come from a) having no 121 experience, and b) not knowing the aircraft already and being placed into an environment where you’re not spoon fed

I was supposed to go to envoy but they have suspended class dates indefinitely for DEC’s and breeze said I could get in within a month

I’m a CFI and I was hired by Breeze. I’m nervous for the airline training but I was wondering if anyone has any insight in to how the traditional training that Breeze does would compare to the AQP training at an airline like envoy or skywest. Will I find it extremely hard compared to the AQP? Any thoughts ?TIA

Training is only for those with 121 experience. The Ejet is a lot more advanced than the CRJ or ERJ and requires a bit more knowledge in turbine flying and FMS use.

In the Envoy thread you said you completed ATP CTP with Envoy already. They wouldn't be spending money on sending people to ATP CTP if they don't intend to eventually bring them to class. Their training program, like any regional, is designed people those with no 121 experience and they'll make sure you get through if you aren't a complete re-re. Like I said, enjoy the rest of the summer, and wait for Envoy to call you in, you will get plenty of flying once you get on the line. Better to wait a few months than wash out of your first job, then have to talk about that when you re-apply to Envoy.
