Hope that extra $4k - $6k+ a year is worth it.
It's up to the pilots to make it worth the extra time and money. The only reason things got ANY better was because a bunch of us left. There is artificial leverage created by hiring conditions but at the end of the day, the BPC has no power and gets no respect from the company.

Now that you're alpa, get to work and make it something worth the effort. Respectfully, you're not skywest- you're out there flying mainline equipment ; have some respect for yourself

The BPC was created by Breeze Airways management and therefore is and would be useless, despite the great guys and gals efforts within the BPC

Breeze management is filing litigation against ALPA because they don’t want their pilots unionized. They would not be doing that if they thought having a pilot union would cost less.

So you are claiming on average Breeze pilots makes $200K - $300K? Pretty sure ALPA would not have been voted in if that was the case. Just getting the pathetic 401k match from 4% to 14% DC would net you about $25K per year if our numbers were correct (but we all know the average is probably closer to $125K, and that is why ALPA got voted in).

And I really like the company response that if more pilots would have been allowed to vote the results would have been different.... Really, the senior captains voted it wasn't good enough, do you really think junior FOs are that much happier 😂🤦‍♂️?

Well at least you know what DN and breeze management think now. Lol.

Any bets on how long before he sells out or pulls the plug?

I haven’t been a huge fan of ALPA at either carrier I’ve worked for;

That being said the dues money has *always* been worth it.

I can't really see DN pulling the plug, given his reputation. That being said, Breeze is the first carrier he's started since B6 that allows overselling so there's a first time for everything.

Rumor in the alleyway is that Hulas Kanodia may be looking to add to his portfolio

He’ll whine and moan and try to smear the union etc but in the end he’ll put up with it as the cost of doing business.

So the BPC was basically another student council type scheme that a certain regional uses? Management created and controlled without any teeth.
