Being able to twist any positive into a negative is an integral part of being an airline pilot

Same if you get a company paid life insurance policy.
thats the point. It won’t be listed as income. It will show as a reimbursed expense which is not taxable.

This will be my last post on the subject. The expense is not tax deductible. If you get reimbursed for a non deductible expense that reimbursement is taxable income no matter what Breeze is telling you. If it were this easy to shelter income from the IRS every company would be doing it.

money that is reimbursed to the individual in a check yes. Charges put on a company card linked to a company account no. If what you were saying for expense cards linked to a corporate account was true every corporate rep that took a client out to lunch or bought her a cab and hotel room would pay taxes on that (they don’t)

I thought it was my last post. Oh well! They don’t pay taxes on the items you just mentioned because they are TAX DEDUCTIBLE EXPENSES. Commuting expenses are not now nor ever have been deductible. It also does not matter if the company provides you the funds via a check, credit card, bubble gum futures or gold. It’s all income to the IRS.

We use PBS. ORF then MSY tend to be the junior bases. PVU is senior for CA, junior for FO.

We have our own simulator in SLC

Home based as in the company buys you a ticket home after the tour is complete? Or back home jumpseating on your own?
