I see on their website it talks about the different types of restricted but I have only heard of military pilots getting in with it.

CFIs\CPL with no ATP are being hired, as well as CPL eligible for an RATP at 1000 hours.

That is horribly sad but as the hiring catches up this spring the depth of the available pool may improve and allow them to be more selective.

This is nothing new in the industry right now. LCCs are sending CFIs to the Airbus. Rumors is that United will take Aviate pilots straight from the academy to mainline.

Why is it sad? If a pilot can pass the 121 training the FAA doesn’t care if they were a CFI or a Part 135 Turbine pilot. It should be a good thing that Breeze’s training department is so talented they can take a CFI and train them to fly the right seat of an A220. That says a lot about how good their training department is!

Hello, I have been considering applying to Breeze. How hard is it to get PVU as a base? If not what is the most junior base currently? Would prefer the A220 but wouldn’t mind the E-Jet. Thanks

AA posted Mins is 1500 with unrestricted ATP. So if a CFI can pop out a ATP in a Seminole real quick, they have the Mins and could be hired right seat FO of the 777

Nobody is getting hired in into the right seat of any wide-body at AA and won't for a long time. Different situation than UA/DL which have a higher ratio of WB to NB and some different reserve rules which makes WB Reserve at the Junior bases VERY undesirable. WB FO still goes senior at AA.
