ORF is all day trips. No A220. Currently there’s 10 pilots based there. 3 lines of flying for January so 4 reserves. We’re all kind of expecting the Ejet to go full charter eventually. So maybe one day they park an 220 there.

What are the trips out of PVU like on both fleets?

Just got a CJO, curious what my future might look like. Anyone at Breeze based out of PVU or familiar with PVU feel free to PM me.

Thanks!

Default Should I apply

Hey I’ve read a ton of the forum and a bunch of negative about low time guys washing out. I’m job surfing and live in Tampa and saw Breeze jets the other day on the ride home from a trip. I’m Still under contract with 135 company and about 7K to buy out of it. Wanna move to 121 with 2-6months. Talked to another Breeze pilot that was thrilled to be with Breeze but would like to hear some other perspective. Feel free to PM me.

I’m at 1600hrs/350 part 135 jet time, 500ish multi time. No 121 time.

I'd also appreciate any insight from someone who has recently gone through training. My turbine time is all C-130/T-1 military time, I'd greatly appreciate any insight on how to prep for training and things I can read up on in the meantime.

You will find any 121 school far easier than the military training. The programs are based on the lowest common denominator. Show up, have a good attitude and you wont have issues.

Ground school is ground school. Going from Tprop to Jet is not that big of a transition, things just happen a bit quicker. Most people have issues in the sim. Can you follow a script of how they want you to fly? Can you fly IFR very well? Can you fly using a glass cockpit? Can you use an FMS to program your performance and flight plan? If the answer is no then that’s what I would focus on.

Default MSY info?

Hey there,
Thinking about applying to Breeze. I live about 1.5-3 hrs drive time from New Orleans depending on traffic. Can anyone give me the info on Breeze out of MSY? I currently have a offer from Atlas on the 737 starting in Feb but I'm weighing my options and looking for advice on breeze. My background is a Low time C130J reserves at Keesler which is where I currently reside.

Thanks in advanced.

Well... It appears that the only pilots on this forum are not working at Breeze, but are considered Breeze. I am still waiting for a few questions of my own to be addressed.

I wish I could give you details on MSY.

If you are interested you could just apply and see where it goes from there. You might have the chance to have your questions answered as you go through the process. Currently its about 4 weeks from application submission to conditional job offer. There are opportunities to ask questions like that as go.
