Not defending the low rates, but you are unlikely to see high rates at any start-up.... Anyone know about other potential benefits like potential stock options down the line, etc.? Obviously the opportunity to advance to the left seat quicker with growth is probably appealing to some. Will be curious to learn more specifics about initial bases, etc.

Neeleman picked JFK for JB the first time because there was a lot of capacity for growth there at the time and he saw the market opportunity. Most big hub airports are capacity constrained now.

Looks like the name will be Breeze. Another update related to the initial batch of E195s sourced from Neeleman’s other airline Azul in Brazil:
