Angry Issue with the website

Is anyone else having a problem? My resume seems to go through but then I get an error message, I think, that says your resume must be in PDF, JPG etc... which it is! Ughhhh.

I got an email saying it didn’t go through and they asked for a direct send to the recruiter

Not defending the low rates, but you are unlikely to see high rates at any start-up.... Anyone know about other potential benefits like potential stock options down the line, etc.? Obviously the opportunity to advance to the left seat quicker with growth is probably appealing to some. Will be curious to learn more specifics about initial bases, etc.

They're rumoring to have east coast bases, and having the HQ in SLC.

I’ve heard that as well. Keep in mind, I doubt they would initially operate out of big hub cities (with expensive cost of living tied to it) because David has always talked about opportunities in ignored secondary and tertiary markets - right? Obviously it is all speculation at this point but I would assume he is looking and airports like SWF, PVD, PIT, RIC, ISP and many others that are “underserved” and have decent catchment areas. Complete speculation on my part, but it would make a difference when considering crew bases. Being required to live near LGA, BOS or DCA (all capacity constrained anyway) would be too expensive for most crews and would make this job less compelling....

Neeleman picked JFK for JB the first time because there was a lot of capacity for growth there at the time and he saw the market opportunity. Most big hub airports are capacity constrained now.

Why? The more organizations competing for the limited number of pilot bodies the better for the pilots.

In an era when we have regionals offering $100k hiring bonuses,

pilots have rarely had more leverage.

Looks like the name will be Breeze. Another update related to the initial batch of E195s sourced from Neeleman’s other airline Azul in Brazil:

Not sure if the E195s are long term or not. A220-300s apparently start to arrive in 2021.
