I was based in BOS with my previous airline, over a decade ago. There usually are a decent # of crashpads available - often advertised on the crew room bulletin boards or other company forums. Also, ask around when you get there. You should be able to get there via the 'T' (public transit), although Revere or East Boston, where many are located, can be questionable neighborhoods.

Hotels are pricey if you use them as crashpads.

Those neighborhoods aren't questionable in the least. Lots of wicked hard working blue "collah" workers.

Default BOS crashpad info

Hey RDC can you send me some info as well please? I've been in my pad in Revere for over a year but I'm looking to get out. Too many early shows where I need a taxi to the airport isn't working out for me.

Five years ago I would have agreed with your East Boston opinion. Much of it has changed. All you have to do is look at the cars parked on the streets. Lots more BMW, Audis, etc. My mother lives in the heart of East Boston and we visit there frequently. It's really convenient to the airport.

I'm still having trouble finding an available Crashpad in BOS. Does anyone know of an open place close to public transportation?

New to the crashpad/communiting environment and will be Boston based in my first airline job. I was looking at the crashpad in East Boston, 163 Cottage. Pictures the owner sent looks really nice. Anyone staying there please PM me. Would actually like to talk to someone who is staying at the crashpad. Thanks.
