I hit that wake at FL390 and 20 miles in trail when it was at FL400. It was like hitting a wall.

Good riddance to a plane that makes RVSM unusable.

The last A380 will probably be parked before the last 747 rolls off the line (thanks to Amazon and cargo demand).

Probably reused as a cargo once emirates sells them. They love cheap used planes.
